BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The No. 15 Bowling Green State University hockey team fell short against the No. 3 Minnesota State Mavericks on Friday night (Jan. 17) by a score of 6-3. The Falcons were paced by freshman Adam Conquest who scored two goals on the night, his first two collegiate scores. Bowling Green maintained a 2-2 tie deep into the second period, but Minnesota State was able to break loose for three goals late in the period to go to the break with a 5-2 lead. A goal off the stick of Sam Craggs pulled the Falcons within two, but when they pulled the goalie for the extra man the Mavericks pushed the puck into the empty net to secure the 6-3 win.
