KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The Bowling Green State University men’s basketball team spent most of Tuesday’s game chasing Western Michigan.
The Falcons struggled at both ends of the floor at times, failing to stop WMU’s high-powered offense while teetering on the precipice of getting blown out.
But BG stayed within range of the Broncos, then used impressive performance in the game’s final minutes to grab a 79-78 victory at University Arena.
“Our guys are always going to fight,” Bowling Green coach Michael Huger said. “That’s the one thing about them: They’re never going to give up.
“We’re going to continue to fight.
