KENT, Ohio — Asiah Dingle hit two free throws with five seconds remaining Saturday, lifting the Kent State Golden Flashes past the Bowling Green State University women’s basketball team 77-73 in Mid-American Conference play at the M.A.C. Center.
The Falcons (8-15, 1-11 MAC) had rallied from a 13-point deficit early in the fourth quarter, only to see the Golden Flashes (14-9, 7-5 MAC) convert at the foul line when they needed to.
Dingle finished with 21 points to lead four Kent State players in double figures. Ali Poole added 17 points and six rebounds, Megan Carter contributed 16 points, and Lindsey Thall finished with 12 points and five rebounds.
