BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green State University men’s basketball team has shown a consistent ability to close out games strong throughout the season.
The Falcons appeared to be heading toward another close victory on Tuesday, but a couple of shots and calls that didn’t go their way at the end of regulation led to a single-digit defeat.
BGSU had its four-game winning streak snapped in falling to defending Mid-American Conference champion Kent State 90-84 in overtime at the Stroh Center. The Falcons, who had won four of their five MAC games by single digits, fell to 9-2 in games decided by 10 points or fewer this season.
