BOWLING GREEN — Kallie Seimet entered a class of one on Wednesday, as the Bowling Green volleyball libero again won both the Mid-American Conference player of the year and defensive player of year honors.
Seimet, a Clay High School graduate, is the first person in MAC history to earn both awards in back-to-back seasons.
The Bowling Green senior has been an integral part of the success at Bowling Green, which earned a share of the regular-season MAC championship and will be the No. 1 seed for the league tournament later this week.
Seimet leads the NCAA in total digs (700) as well as digs per set (6.
