BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University football team fell to the Central Michigan University Chippewas on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 19) at Doyt Perry Stadium. The 38-20 defeat dropped BGSU to 2-5 overall and 1-2 in Mid-American Conference play.
The highlight of the game was a school-record 100-yard fumble return for a touchdown by Caleb Biggers in the first quarter. The return of Tommy Lazzaro's fumble tied the game at 7-7. The Falcons trailed 21-7 at the half, but responded by taking the second half kickoff and driving 75 yards in ten plays for another score.
