After spending last summer completing a summer internship with EXOS performance training center, Ivi Casagrande of the Bowling Green women's soccer program utilized her connections and will spend this summer in Europe working with various soccer clubs, most notably the Arsenal Football Club of the Premier League.
Sports performance graduate assistant Casagrande will spend July 3-9 and 24-30 with the Arsenal in London, England, in which she will be shadowing the sports performance program. In that time, the Arsenal will be preparing for its preseason tours in Australia and China.
"I used connections I made at EXOS, including the Arsenal's physical therapist and players Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Carl Jenkinson," Casagrande said of opening up the summer opportunity.
