Nicky Potts scored off of a corner kick with just under a minute gone in the second overtime period, lifting Ball State University to a 1-0 victory over the Bowling Green State University women's soccer team Sunday afternoon (Oct. 20) at Cochrane Stadium.
The loss was the first in Mid-American Conference play for the Falcons (9-5-2, 7-1-0 MAC), and snapped a seven-match winning streak.
BGSU outshot Ball State, 27-14, and had eight shots on goal to the Cardinals' four, but Tristin Stuteville made eight saves to keep BG off of the scoreboard.
