Can the tight end position continue to be a strength for BGSU football under George?

BOWLING GREEN — Harold Fannin, Jr., set a mile-high standard for tight ends for Bowling Green State University’s football program.

The next group of Falcons at that position don’t want to let what has become a strength for the program fade away.

Even with a recent coaching change, BGSU is expecting big things from its tight ends for the 2025 season. Duplicating Fannin’s historic numbers in 2024, when the consensus All-American led the country and broke the FBS tight end records with 117 receptions and 1,555 receiving yards will be highly difficult, to say the least, but the talent in the room is there for first-year BGSU coach Eddie George.
