BUFFALO, N.Y. – Dyaisha Fair scored 15 of her game-high 36 points in the third quarter as the University at Buffalo defeated the Bowling Green State University women's basketball team, 82-74, Wednesday evening (Jan. 13). The Mid-American Conference game was held at Alumni Arena.
The Falcons (8-3, 4-2 MAC) led by four points at the half, but Fair was a perfect 5-for-5 from three-point range in the third quarter alone, giving the hosts (8-3, 5-1 MAC) a five-point advantage, 57-52.
BGSU crept as close as two points on two occasions in the fourth quarter, but could not draw even with the hosts in that final period.
