BOWLING GREEN — The development for Karl Brooks during his five years in a Bowling Green State University football jersey played a big part in the standout defensive lineman being selected by the Green Bay Packers in the sixth round of the NFL draft on Saturday.
From a 6-foot-4, 240-pound incoming freshman at BGSU in 2018 to a 300-pound nightmare for opposing offensive linemen by the time he finished his college career, Brooks’ transformation with his body has been significant, as well.
All while maintaining his speed, agility, and athleticism.
“Just the off field stuff and my nutrition and watching what I was putting in my body, I was putting a lot of proteins in my body,” Brooks said.
