DETROIT — Think of Bowling Green State University football coach Scot Loeffler’s new contract like a tax extension.
The auditor still needs to see the receipts.
Loeffler just has more time to produce them.
On Thursday at Mid-American Conference media day, the fifth-year Falcons boss said his program remains on course to rummage up a breakthrough season this autumn.
All that’s left is delivering.
“We’re on schedule, like we’ve said from the beginning [about] how this thing was going to roll,” Loeffler said. “We’ll be a healthy football team from here on out in my tenure.
