Bowling Green State University softball senior Briana Combs has been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District™ Team. The teams were announced on Thursday afternoon (May 4).

Combs, a pitcher, was named to the Academic All-District™ Second Team. A native of Northville, Mich., pitched in eight games this season, starting four, before suffering an injury to her pitching hand. She had a 1-3 record in 21 2/3 innings in the circle.
