Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Jet's Pizza Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are men's soccer player Chris Brennan and tennis player Marharita-Sophia Tavpash.
Chris Brennan, a senior from Copley, Ohio, was directly involved in the scoring of three of BGSU's four goals during the past week. He scored the only goal in a 1-0 win over Cleveland State midweek and added a pair of assists in a wild 4-3 overtime loss to Cincinnati.
