From a Falcon to a Falcon.
Bowling Green State University wide receiver Odieu Hiliare has signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent.
Hiliare confirmed the signing Wednesday on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Shortly after April’s NFL draft, reports surfaced that Hiliare had signed with the Chicago Bears, but Hiliare denied those reports on social media.
The 6-foot, 185-pound wideout made the most of his two seasons at BGSU after transferring from FCS school Alabama A&M. The sure-handed wideout hauled in 58 catches for 747 yards and six touchdowns in earning second-team Mid-American Conference honors in 2022, then tallied 45 catches for 532 yards and four scores last season en route to receiving third-team recognition.
