VALPARAISO, Ind. — The Bowling Green women’s basketball team made 14 3-pointers on the way to a 92-61 win at Valparaiso on Friday.
The Falcons were red-hot from beyond the arc, shooting 14 of 24 (58.3 percent) led by four made 3-pointers from Morgan Sharps and three each from Elissa Brett and Lexi Fleming.
Nya Hampton led BGSU in scoring with 16 points, Fleming scored 14, Brett had 13, Sharps tallied 12, and Amy Velasco chipped in with 10.
“This was a great team win tonight,” Bowling Green coach Robyn Fralick said. “I thought we set the tone in the first quarter.
