Bowling Green women's basketball team falls at home to Buffalo

BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team was tripped up at home against a hot-shooting Buffalo team in an 84-66 Bulls' victory on Saturday at the Stroh Center.

Trying to stay atop the Mid-American Conference standings, the Falcons (24-4, 13-3 MAC) allowed Buffalo to shoot 30 for 43 from the field (69.8 percent). Bowling Green did force the Bulls into 25 turnovers while committing only 12, but the Falcons shot just 39.4 percent from the field.

Allison Day was the only Bowling Green player to score in double figures with 20 points. She was 10 for 15 from the field.
