BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green State University women’s basketball team on Friday announced the addition of Erika Porter, a forward who is transferring in from Baylor to join the Falcons.
Porter, who stands six feet tall, will have two seasons of eligibility remaining. She spent just one year with Baylor after playing her freshman and sophomore seasons at Illinois.
As a junior in 2022-23, Porter appeared in 15 games for Baylor, averaging 1.5 points per outing. The native of West Windsor, N.J., averaged 2.1 and 4.2 points, respectively in her two seasons with Illinois.
The addition of Porter figures to bring more size and experience to the Falcons’ frontcourt under new coach Fred Chmiel.
