Bowling Green women's basketball defeats Wright State in home opener

BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green State University women’s basketball team led by as many as 36 points en route to a 102-72 victory over Wright State on Monday night at the Stroh Center.

The Falcons’ ability to capitalize on Wright State’s turnovers played a major factor in the Falcons’ dominating win over the Raiders.

Wright State (0-2) committed eight turnovers in the first quarter alone, with the Falcons converting 15 points off those turnovers.

Bowling Green (2-0) added an additional six points on Wright State’s five turnovers in the second quarter. In all, the Raiders committed 21 turnovers, and the Falcons converted those turnovers into 25 points in Bowling Green’s home opener.
