MILWAUKEE — The Bowling Green State University women’s basketball team held Milwaukee to 31.3 percent shooting as the Falcons earned a 63-51 victory Saturday at the Klotsche Center.
BGSU (6-3) held Milwaukee (3-7) to fewer than 15 points in three of four quarters of play.
The Falcons outscored the Panthers 35-26 in the second half. Milwaukee made 5-of-18 shots in the final quarter.
Three Falcons scored in double figures. Forward Kadie Hempfling led BG with 18 points on 8-of-13 shooting. She made both of her attempted 3-pointers. Caterrion Thompson scored 16 points and dished out three assists.
