OXFORD, Ohio — The Bowling Green State University women’s basketball team suffered another loss at the hands of a fellow MAC opponent on Saturday.
The Falcons (8-17, 1-13 MAC) got behind early and despite a better third quarter where they outscored Miami (21-4, 12-2) 18-10, never could get close enough to be a threat in a 75-62 defeat.
Junior forward Andrea Cecil, an Oak Harbor graduate, led the Falcons with 23 points. She also had six rebounds and one blocked shot.
The RedHawks got a game-high 25 points from guard Lauren Dickerson.
BG plays at home next against Akron on Wednesday.
