HOUGHTON, Mich — The Bowling Green hockey team prevailed 2-1 in overtime over Michigan Tech on Friday night at MacInnes Student Ice Arena.
Owen Ozar played the hero for the Falcons (5-10, 3-4 CCHA), scoring 1:04 into the extra period. Tommy Pasanen and Ryan O’Hara had assists.
Logan Pietila put Michigan Tech ahead at the 10:56 mark of the second period. BGSU trailed 1-0 into the third period before tying it up.
Knotting the score for the Falcons was Brandon Santa Juana at 3:54 of the third.
