BOWLING GREEN — Mid-American Conference tournament champion Bowling Green will travel to Lexington, Ky., for the first two rounds of the NCAA women’s volleyball tournament.
In pairings announced Sunday, the Falcons (22-9) will take on sixth-seeded Western Kentucky (28-3) in a first-round contest at the University of Kentucky’s Memorial Coliseum.
The host Wildcats (20-7), the No. 3 seed in the bottom left quadrant of the national bracket, will take on Loyola Chicago (25-8).
This is Bowling Green’s fourth NCAA tournament appearance, the third under head coach Danijela Tomic. The Falcons went to the tournament in 1991, 2012, and the coronavirus-affected 2020-21 season.
