MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — Tuesday caused more headaches against Mid-American Conference foes for Bowling Green State University men’s basketball.
It took a last-gasp effort, but 4-13 Central Michigan was able to outlast the Falcons 78-74 inside McGuirk Arena, leaving far more questions than answers and feelings of frustration in a college basketball season which is winding down into its last month.
A Chandler Turner drive, layup, and-one tied it for BGSU at 74 with 23.8 seconds left. Turner missed the free throw, and Myron Gordon fouled Central Michigan’s Harrison Henderson on the other end with 3.3 seconds remaining.
