BOWLING GREEN — Starting quarterback Jarret Doege has entered the NCAA transfer portal, Bowling Green confirmed Wednesday.
247Sports first reported Doege’s decision.
Doege made 17 starts the past two years and was in line to be the Falcons’ quarterback again next season, Bowling Green’s first since hiring coach Scot Loeffler.
He led the Mid-American Conference with 27 touchdown passes during the regular season and completed more than 62 percent of his passes for 2,660 yards. He had 12 interceptions.
The Texas native completed spring football with Bowling Green, but will explore his options this summer.
