Bowling Green State University junior running back Terion Stewart announced on Sunday that he will miss the upcoming football season, via his personal Twitter account.
Stewart, in his statement, said he will miss the season to “focus more on my health and academic responsibilities.”
The 5-9, 210-pound Sandusky High School graduate led the Falcons in rushing the past two seasons.
“I know this will be hard for me, but will better me as a person,” Stewart also said. “I love every moment [my family and friends] shared with me, and all the love you guys show me.
