MANKATO, Minn. - The Bowling Green State University hockey team split their weekend series with Minnesota State dropping Saturday (Nov. 2) night's game by a final score of five to one. Shots on goal ended 30 to 24 in slight favor of MSU. The Mavericks struck in the first period before senior captain Alec Rauhauser answered for Bowling Green with his fourth goal of the season. The Mavericks took a one goal lead into the second period where BGSU held close throughout. MSU would pull away in the third period.
