BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University announced on Friday Greg Nosal was hired as an assistant coach. Head coach Scot Loeffler said in a press release Nosal will coach running backs, while Chris Hedden will move to coach tight ends.
Nosal’s most-recent coaching stint was at East Carolina of the American Athletic Conference, where he was an offensive analyst and focused on the offensive line. He spent one season on the Pirates’ staff and before that was on the Miami (Fla.) staff as a quality control analyst for three seasons. He also spent time on the staff at Virginia Tech.
