BOWLING GREEN – The Bowling Green State University men’s basketball program has signed forward Marlon Sierra to a national letter of intent, the school announced Tuesday.
Sierra is a 6-6 Miami native who spent the past two seasons at Western Nebraska Community College and will have two years of eligibility remaining.
He led Western Nebraska to a 27-8 mark last season, including the program’s first trip to the National Junior College Athletic Association national tournament since 2001. Last season Sierra averaged 12.3 points, a team-best 6.8 rebounds, and also 2.5 assists per game.
