BOWLING GREEN — So, there’s a chance.
Bowling Green State University still has a shot at the Mid-American Conference men’s basketball tournament.
The Falcons weathered a 12-0 Ohio run, got some help from a double technical foul call, and closed out the Bobcats for an 80-77 victory on Tuesday inside the Stroh Center.
The win snaps a six-game losing streak, but more importantly, it gives the Falcons (13-17, 6-13 MAC) a renewed opportunity at making the postseason.
Welcome to March.
A major upset victory on Friday will be needed in order to keep that chance afloat.
