BUFFALO — Bowling Green State University’s men’s basketball team couldn’t keep pace with the University of Buffalo and fell 100-71 on Tuesday at Alumni Arena.
The Falcons, who had won four straight, suffered their third straight loss and fell to 8-10 overall, 2-3 in the Mid-American Conference. Buffalo moved to 9-9, 3-3.
Bowling Green held its last of only three leads at 13-11 nearly 8 minutes in. Buffalo reeled off 16 of the next 17 points, finishing on 11 straight points to lead 27-14.
Yazid Powell had 14 of his game-high 27 points in the first half as the Bulls built a 48-33 lead.
