AKRON — The Bowling Green State University men’s basketball team picked up its fourth consecutive win with an 83-71 victory over Akron on Friday night at James A. Rhodes Arena.
After a six-game losing skid, the Falcons (14-9, 10-7 Mid-American Conference) have found their form and are proving once again they are a dangerous team in the MAC with a four-game streak of road wins that includes victories over two of the top teams in the conference in Toledo and Akron.
The Zips were a perfect 9-0 at home this season before Friday night. Bowling Green has the best road record in the MAC at 8-2, and has 10 road wins overall, which also leads the conference.
