Bowling Green looks to slow rolling Kent State offense

BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green coach Scot Loeffler counts himself as an admirer of the offense that used to run wild at Doyt Perry Stadium.

A variant of the system affectionately known as FalconFast at BG is now run by Kent State under Sean Lewis, the former offensive coordinator under Dino Babers at BG and Syracuse, which plays its annual game against BG on Tuesday.

Dating to last season, the Flashes are riding a five-game winning streak — their longest in eight years — and its offense behind star quarterback Dustin Crum is averaging nearly 37 points during that span.
