ATHENS, Ohio — Ohio stayed red-hot against Bowling Green State University, as the Bobcats earned its ninth consecutive victory and remained unbeaten in Mid-American Conference play with an 85-78 triumph over the Falcons on Tuesday at the Convocation Center.
Bowling Green chipped away at various deficits throughout the game, including working from a 17-11 mark to tie the game at 24 on a Cam Young layup with 4:35 left in the first half. Ohio (12-2, 4-0 MAC) then went on an 8-2 run before BGSU (8-7, 1-3) got a 3-pointer from Trey Diggs to cut the Bobcats lead to 32-29 at halftime.
