BOWLING GREEN, Ohio. – The No 12 ranked (No. 8 in USA Today poll) Bowling Green State University hockey team split their series on Friday (Jan. 4) night defeating Bemidji State in game two by a final score of three to one. The Falcons scored three times on 24 shots on goal. Bowling Green put the pressure on early as and would find the back of the net in the opening six minutes of the first period. Bemidji State would score on a power play goal right before the end of the first. This would remain our score until would score a late empty net goal to insure the game for BGSU.
