MARQUETTE, Mich. — Six Bowling Green hockey players scored goals as the Falcons earned a 6-4 victory over Northern Michigan in their season opener on Saturday.
Chase Gresock, Max Coyle, Ethan Scardina, Ryan O'Hara, Austen Swankler, and Taylor Schneider were the goal-scorers for Bowling Green.
Schneider had three points to lead the Falcons and Swankler had two points.
The Falcons trailed 4-3 when Michael Colella scored for the Wildcats 2:43 into the third period.
But O'Hara lit the lamp less than a minute later to tie the score at 4 and then Swankler scored an even-strength goal 6:49 into the period for a 5-4 lead.
