BIG RAPIDS, Mich. — The Bowling Green hockey team took a two-goal lead in the second period and then had to rally late in a 4-3 win over Ferris State on Friday night at Ewigleben Ice Arena.
Ryan O'Hara scored a first-period goal and Adam Pitters scored early in the second period as the Falcons worked to a two-goal advantage.
Ferris State responded with three unanswered goals in the second period with goals by Kaleb Ergang, Justin Michaelian, and Luke Farthing.
In the third, Bowling Green fought back with goals from Taylor Schneider and Evan Dougherty to regain a 4-3 lead and then hung on to win.
