EAST LANSING, Mich. — Ryan O’Hara scored two goals to lead the Bowling Green State University men's hockey team to a 3-1 road win over Michigan State on Friday.
O'Hara scored twice in the third period, with his first goal giving the Falcons (2-1-0) a 2-1 lead 1:25 into the final period. With 1:11 remaining in the game, O'Hara lit the lamp on an empty-net goal to put things away for Bowling Green.
The teams were scoreless after one period, even though Michigan State outshot Bowling Green 10-7. The Falcons picked up their play in the second period with a 16-11 edge in shots.
