BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green State University hockey team won its fourth straight game Saturday, finishing off a weekend sweep of Lake Superior State with a 5-3 victory in front of 2,339 fans at the Slater Family Ice Arena.
Five BG players scored, with the Falcons scoring the first three goals of the game.
Evan Dougherty and Nathan Burke scored on power plays in the first period for the Falcons, with Austen Swankler and Ben Wozney recording assists on both.
Wozney gave BG a 3-0 lead at 5:46 of the second, with Swankler and Ryan O’Hara assisting.
