MANKATO, Minn. — Minnesota State scored two goals in the third period to defeat Bowling Green for the second straight night, 4-2, in a CCHA hockey game.
St. Francis de Sales graduate Brendan Furry scored for the second straight night for Minnesota State (5-3, 2-0 CCHA).
After David Silye opened scoring for Minnesota State 4:12 into the contest, Bowling Green scored twice to take a 2-1 lead. Chase Gresock evened things at 10:27 of the first, and Quinn Emerson netted a short-handed goal at 2:35 of the second period to put the Falcons ahead.
Furry tied the game with 1:38 to go in the second period.
