BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green State University hockey team earned a 5-2 win over Michigan Tech on Saturday at Slater Family Ice Arena.
The No. 8 Falcons swept the weekend series with the No. 18 Huskies after winning 6-3 on Friday night and handed Michigan Tech its first two WCHA losses of the season.
Alex Barber scored two goals to lead Bowling Green.
Michigan Tech opened the scoring slightly more than two minutes into the game when Tristan Ashbrook scored an even-strength goal on assists from Colin Swoyer and Nick Nardella.
Bowling Green answered about 10 minutes later with a power play goal from Alex Barber off assists from Cameron Wright and Taylor Schneider to pull even.
