SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. — The Bowling Green hockey team scored a season-high goal total in a 7-4 victory over Lake Superior State on Friday night.
The Falcons scored three goals in both the first and second periods to take control of the game.
"We're really happy to see [goaltender] Zack Rose back in the net and get the win," Bowling Green coach Ty Eigner said. "We did some good things with the puck, and scoring seven goals is certainly a positive."
Taylor Schneider scored twice for BGSU with Chase Gresock, Alex Barber, Brayden Krieger, Anton Malmstrom, and Ethan Scardina scoring the other Falcons goals.
