SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. — A pair of early goals set the stage for a 3-0 Bowling Green State University hockey victory Friday at Lake Superior State.
Ryan O’Hara scored twice for the Falcons, leading things off with a goal at 12:39 of the first period and adding an empty-netter with 2:44 to go in the third. The goals helped Bowling Green (9-7-2, 5-4-2 CCHA) record its fourth straight victory.
Brody Waters gave Bowling Green its second goal of the first period at 15:32. Both first-period goals came on power plays.
Dalton Norris assisted both first-period goals.
