HAMDEN, Conn. — Connor Ford scored a power-play goal with 1:48 remaining, and Tim Theocharidis followed with an empty-net goal 19 seconds later to give Bowling Green State University hockey a 4-2 victory and a weekend sweep over host Quinnipiac at the People’s United Center on Saturday.
Bowling Green (8-1-0) rallied from a 2-0 deficit and scored four unanswered goals to secure the victory.
The Falcons defeated the Bobcats 4-1 on Friday.
BGSU has won five in a row dating back to Dec. 6 against Mercyhurst.
Quinnipiac (2-2-0) opened the scoring in the second period as Ethan de Jong netted a power-play opportunity fewer than five minutes in.
