BOWLING GREEN — Voters chose Bowling Green State University to finish third in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association preseason poll, which the conference released Monday along with its preseason all-league teams.
The Falcons, who made a run to the WCHA title game in 2019 and were set to play in a WCHA semifinal series when the season was canceled last year, received 76 points in the poll.
Minnesota State was the unanimous pick to win league among the 10 voters to win the conference, taking all 100 possible points. Bemidji State was nearly unanimously picked to finish second with 89 points.
