HOUGHTON, Mich. — Bowling Green State University’s comeback bid fell short as Michigan Tech’s Isaac Gordon scored the game-winning goal with a little over six minutes left to give the Huskies a 3-2 win in Saturday’s Central Collegiate Hockey Association game.
BGSU found itself down 2-0 midway through the second period before the Falcons (5-11-0, 3-5-0 CCHA) scored a pair of goals in just over 90 seconds to make it 2-2.
Spencer Kersten got the rally started when he scored an unassisted goal with 11:59 left in the second.
It was his fifth goal of the season.
