BOWLING GREEN — More depth is on its way in between the pipes for Bowling Green State University hockey.
The Falcons on Thursday announced the addition of freshman goaltender Salvatore Evola to the active roster, giving BGSU another option in light of injury concerns to goaltender Zack Rose.
"With the significant injury to Zack, we needed to quickly address our goaltending depth,” BGSU coach Ty Eigner said in a news release. “We knew Salvatore from his time in high school hockey at Country Day in Michigan. Thankfully for us, Salvatore was very interested in the opportunity we had.
