DETROIT — While Bowling Green basketball was in the midst of a season to remember, the Falcons’ future continued to look better and better.
The Falcons had their best finish in 17 years as signee Chandler Turner concurrently dominated the basketball-rich Detroit Public School League and won Mr. PSL, the conference player of the year.
Bowling Green made the 6-foot-6 wing from Renaissance High School a high-priority target in the class of 2019, and the Falcons also had an advantage no other program did: Star BGSU guard Justin Turner is a Renaissance grad with whom Chandler was high school teammates.
