BOWLING GREEN — A cloudless Saturday afternoon brought excitement back into Doyt Perry Stadium for a public showcasing of what could be for the Bowling Green State University football team.
Shortly before daylight hit the noon hour, Matt McDonald and Co. trotted onto the field for its first possession in front of a live audience in 2022. He took the first snap from transfer center Jakari Robinson and fired a strike to his favorite target, Austin Osborne, for a 7-yard gain.
Two plays later, McDonald and Cavon Croom connected for a 19-yard touchdown that was followed by cheers and applause from the Falcons faithful.
