BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green football team’s next opponent has made a leadership change.
Ball State University parted ways with head football coach Mike Neu on Saturday morning. The move came one week before the Cardinals' home game against Bowling Green. Offensive line coach Colin Johnson will be the interim head coach for Ball State's final two games.
Neu had a 40-63 record in nine seasons at Ball State, including a 7-1 record and Mid-American Conference championship in 2020. The Cardinals are 3-7 this season (2-4 MAC), with their four league losses coming by a combined 15 points.
